I've always been a fan of BJ's restaurants, but after our visit today, there are much better places to spend our money. We ordered a kids pizza, a burger with sweet potato fries, and an unlimited soup and salad meal. Pizza was very hot, no complaints about that. Burger was well cooked and good, but the sweet potato fries were cold. The cesar salad dressing was very mediocre. Tastes like any mediorcre dressing you can get off of a grocery store shelf and the broccoli cheddar soup was served not cold but it wasn't even room temp. Disgusting when not served hot. The pazookie was a disappointment as well. The cookie wasnt even warm amd it was very crunchy. The bright spot in the experience was our waitress. She brought out a new soup when we told her what happened. My husband doesn't like to send back food so he just ate the sweet potato fries as is. We were done with the whole experience so we didnt say anything about the desert. Way too expensive to deal with 3 big issues in our meals. As mentioned, unfortunately we wont be back. Would much rather spend the same amount and go to Westwoods for some good BBQ and salads with actual taste.

Alyssa M. was our server, and she was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, attentive, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our entire meal. Her great attitude and excellent service made our experience even better. Alyssa is a true asset to the restaurant and definitely deserves to be recognized and considered for a promotion. We would gladly come back and ask for her again!

Let me start by saying the service and the atmosphere was good. With that said I can only say the food was not good. I ordered a double Smashburger and there was nothing smashed about the burger at all. My french fries and my burger were lukewarm at best. Although they tasted okay I was very disappointed in getting cool food. My wife ordered a personal pizza and a salad. The salad was fine however the pizza was again was lukewarm at best. The pizza resembled something you would get out of the freezer section of a grocery store and cook at home. Needless to say we were not very happy with the food. We are not complainers so we made do with the subpar food. Both of our meals came with personal Pizookie. We asked our server to package those to go. 5 minutes later a young lady brought the pizookies and they were not packets to go. We told her we ordered those to go so she returned to the kitchen and our server brought out the package pizookies. All in all the overall experience was sub par. We are very disappointed.

We had very good experiences at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Fresno. BJ’s is generally a reliable choice, and this location met those expectations. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff were welcoming throughout the visit. The restaurant is very popular, so it is definitely advisable to make a reservation in advance. If you arrive without one, you should expect longer waiting times, especially during busy hours. One small downside is that you cannot join the waitlist digitally. You always have to check in directly with the host at the entrance, which is a bit inconvenient compared to restaurants that offer an online waitlist. As usual for BJ’s, the food was very good, and the beer selection is excellent. The other drinks are also well prepared, and overall the menu offers a good variety. Overall: A very good dining experience with friendly service, great food, and excellent beers. Just make sure to reserve ahead of time, as the restaurant is often quite busy.

My server was very nice and gave me a great experience! The food was great! I got the pizza & it was great because if you are indecisive on which one you want you can just get the β€œhalf & half deep dish pizza”. The pizookie trio is a great option as well since you can try the different favors they offer.
